This notice covers the www.teddyjournal.com website: the launch notification sign-up and visitor statistics. A separate notice for the Teddy Journal app will be published when the app launches.

Launch notification (sign-up)
Data: your email address, the language of the page you signed up on, and the time of the sign-up.
Purpose: to email you when Teddy Journal is available on the App Store. We use it for nothing else and never share it.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by signing up and withdrawable at any time.
Retention: until the launch email is sent, at most 6 months after the app launches, or until you ask us to delete it.
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
Only if you accept on the cookie banner: Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and collects pseudonymous usage data (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate country / city, whether you signed up). Advertising features are disabled.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). If you decline or don’t choose, Google’s code is not even loaded. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
Retention: Google Analytics keeps the statistics for 2 months; the cookies stay in your browser for up to 2 years (you can delete them).
Technical data
For the page to work, your browser stores your chosen theme, language and cookie choice (localStorage) – these never reach us. To prevent abuse (e.g. mass sign-ups), the server briefly counts requests per IP address in memory only; legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Processors
- Railway Corporation (USA) – hosting and database. Transfers outside the EU rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Ireland) – Google Analytics, only with your consent. Google may transfer data to the USA; Google LLC participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing). To unsubscribe or for any request, email us at the address above; we reply within one month.
Complaints
If you think we have infringed your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., www.naih.hu) or go to court.
