Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Teddy Journal app and service. By using the app you accept them.
The service
Teddy Journal is a free pet journal and care app operated by Prendev Kft. It has no subscription, paid features or ads. You need an Apple or Google account to use it.
Your account
Only you may use your account, and you are responsible for the security of the Apple or Google account linked to it. You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.
Your content
The content you upload (text, photos, documents) remains yours. You grant us only the rights needed to provide the service: storing it and showing it to you and to the pet’s co-carers. You may not upload unlawful or harmful content or content that infringes others’ rights.
Shared care
The primary owner can invite co-carers, who can see the pet’s details and record entries. Only the primary owner can change the pet’s details and revoke access. By inviting someone you decide whom you share the data with.
Not veterinary advice
The app provides a journal and reminders but does not replace veterinary advice. Delivery of reminders is not guaranteed (e.g. if your phone is offline or notifications are turned off); you remain responsible for your pet’s care.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or because of errors. We may develop and change features. We recommend exporting your important data from time to time.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits arising from use of the service. This does not limit liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for breaches harming life, physical integrity or health, or any mandatory consumer rights.
Termination
You can delete your account in the app at any time (Settings › Delete account). If you seriously breach these terms, we may suspend or delete your account.
App Store
Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to the app downloaded from the App Store. Prendev Kft., not Apple, is responsible for the service and its support.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We’ll notify you of material changes at least 15 days in advance in the app or by email. If you don’t accept them, you can delete your account.
